Hi and so happy to see such a resource being made available. We must needs talk and share information.
Climate change in itself, IMO, is not the problem - the problem or question is whether or not we, as humane people, will WE work together to get EVERYONE through the changes, on a personal level and the community level.
And if the answer is yes, and to any sane, humane and reasonable person that is the obvious answer, then the skills needed are two-fold - the skill of community building and the skill of natural resource management - in a word permaculture!
Both are grassroots technologies, which we can all learn. If we start today to engage those technologies then we do not need to wait for governments to take action, (which they will not do!) we must lead the way!
Lovin’ yer emails, keep ‘em coming. Hugs!
Comment by corneilius October 16, 2006 @ 7:53 pmi second that. i dont know too much about permaculture, but i do know that we really need to deal with the causes of all the problems , which is the human being. it needs to be both small sustainable changes and radical innovotive ideas, that unite us all to go for the same goal.
i do believe this is possible and i even think i have some ideas of how. possibly it needs some foolish solutions, but it is an insane world.
i am currently looking for help and funding with a project that will achieve just this.
and this site is totally in tune with what i see as the solution.
keep up the great work nadia
