This week it was announced that Seven Generations will close in a month’s time. This will be a huge loss to the community, especially in the abscence of another social/community space in the area. Some of the staff there want to ensure that 7G continues to serve the community andhave been discussing taking on the lease and developing the space into a wholefood cafe, bookshop and space for events and the arts. There is also the idea of using the place for skill-swapping in support of the burgeoning Freeconomy Community . They are open to any ideas and would really value your support. Please go along to an emergency meeting to be held at Seven Generations this Monday Oct 1st evening at 7.30 p.m. Please pass on this info to anyone who you might think able to help or get in touch by e-mail or phone if you can’t make the meeting.
