GreenPlantSwap is a national website with a database of 21,000 plants, and 15,000 images, promoting the swapping and selling of plants, based on location. We are going live next week and we need some keen gardeners in the South West to join up for free before then, so that the site doesn’t look too empty.  

 

The Deal

 

We are offering free membership for a year, if you create a grower page with a minimum of 5 plants you would like to either swap or sell before we launch next week. The site is based on location, so you can search for specific plants against the database, which has all the images and growing information you need to create your own ‘grower’ page.  The idea is to promote local growers to local gardeners, to keep mileage down, and encourage a wider variety of plants we grow- including veg and fruit trees, shrubs and houseplants.  We will hopefully be doing seeds too later on.
