Local Community Projects To Transform Our City

Saturday 20th October

Trinity Centre, Old Market

£3 (£1.50 unwaged), under 18s free

October sees Bristol East Green Party’s first ‘Think Green!’ fun day. A celebration of existing activity and an inspiration for even more, the day will see films, stalls, music, artwork, food, drink and many more things, as well as a series of workshops on local green issues ranging from community gardening and local green spaces to education and what local groups inside and outside the formal political process can achieve.

Speakers will include representatives from Transition City Bristol and many other local groups, as well as the city’s Green councillor, Charlie Bolton. The national Green Party’s male Principal Speaker and direct action veteran, Derek Wall, will be giving the keynote address at the event, so put it in your diaries now!
