A DAY OF BIG IDEAS
Stay solvent, sane and sustainable in a
crazy world!

Sunday 30th November 2008
from 9.30am to 5pm

At Easton Community Centre, Kilburn St, Easton, Bristol. BS5 6AW

Entry £5/£3

In the spirit of switching off your
television set and doing something less boring instead….Bristol Permaculture
Group invites you to spend a day learning new skills and discussing ideas for
practical sustainability in your home and community.

Workshops will include
Cheap and easy ways to reduce energy use in
your home. local economic systems, local food initiatives, permaculture,
cleaning without chemicals, wild food forages, herbal medicine, successful
composting, how to make a rocket stove, Be the Change, Transition Towns, green
woodwork, co-op housing, rainwater harvesting, gardeners question time and
more……

There will also be Open Space sessions
where you can pose your own questions and discuss in small groups – a really
dynamic way to share ideas and generate action.

Café for lunch, tea and cake. – Free bike
maintenance while you wait – Info stalls and displays from local projects – Buy
books, green stuff and plants.

Please bring your own mug for tea!!!
Places are limited so please arrive and register at
the start of the day if you can.
