This week, Martin Foder has offerred to give a freeskill about presentation skills:
Getting your Message Across
An interactive session on making presentations, with and without slides.  Learn how to speak to your audience and listen to their questions.  Identify what you need to do to convey your message, and what may happen if you fail to prepare, or relate to your audience.
11 October, Better Food Company Cafe, from 6pm – 7.45pm
(Better Food: 21 Sevier Street, St Werburghs, Bristol, BS2 9LB)
18 October                Impermanence
An awareness of impermanence will free us from much fear, anxiety and grief.  It will help us to enjoy life, making the most of every moment.  Relationships and activities will become more enjoyable and meaningful when we let go of our ignorant mind that is grasping at permanence.  The meditation on impermanence is very effective medicine for the mind.  With Kelsang Chonden
25 October                The Non-Geeks Guide to Getting More from Your Computer
Learn how to use your computer more effectively.  Replace laborious mouse clicks by using the keyboard.  Find free versions of essential tools and discover powerful applications you can use free – and legally!  Learn how to find what you want on the Internet and stay safe.  With Dave Kibble
To share your skill or to suggest one you’d like to learn, please contact the Freeskilling team at freeskilling@gmail.com
Thank you to all who’ve offerred skills, all who’ve enjoyed learning them and to the Better Food Co. for the use of their cafe space.
