Get set up to eat from your garden all year!

This course will focus on seasonal tasks and skills. We will cover…

  • Planning the year
  • Sowing veg to eat over the winter
  • Building fertility – compost, wormeries, green manures
  • More plants for free! – cuttings, seed saving
  • Fruit tree and bush pruning
  • Avoiding pest and disease problems

Based in the Trinity Community Gardens at The Trinity Centre, the sessions will be a mix of ideas and information indoors, followed by hands-on work in the thriving community garden. We have a poly-tunnel, compost loo, lots of fruit trees and a friendly bunch of volunteers.

Classes will be on Tuesdays 1-4 pm.

8 sessions, Oct 23rd to Nov 27th.

Price of the course : £0
