What the course will cover
• Designing a commercial nursery – how to get started
• Understanding the different nursery and propagation options
• Running a commercial nursery operation, including: feeding and pest management

Irrigation & watering
• Becoming self-sufficient in propagation materials
• Tour of an existing nursery site
• Hands-on nursery design practice
• Seasonal propagation activity
• Managing stock, sales and purchases
• Marketing of edible and unusual plants, online and face-to-face
What you will get from the course
As well as knowledge and info of the above, you will get the opportunity to practice:
• Selecting and collecting graftwood
• Grafting
• Taking hardwood cuttings
You will be provided with the following info and resources to take away:
• Plant lists
• Stock tracking spreadsheets
• Template plant labels
• A printed course Reader with info on everything taught
Our courses also give you the chance to meet other people with similar interests and experience of their own, and to get your specific questions answered. You will leave with increased confidence, clarity and creativity to put your new knowledge and skills into practice.

The cost of the course is banded on the basis of income:

Sounds a very comprehensive and fairly-priced course. I like the price banding.
