The BIG Green Week festival programme features one hundred events over nine days in Bristol, from Saturday 9th to Sunday 17thJune.

All tickets are now on sale for these inspiring comedy, music, film, poetry, art and ideas events. Around half the events are free of charge.

The £10 discount ‘Green Pass’ wristband is the best value way to enjoy Bristol’s BIG Green Week, with reduced price tickets, as well as discounts at cafes, restaurants and bars around the festival.

Are you in Need of a new autumn wardrobe, but you just can’t afford it?
Is your wardrobe full of clothes you just don’t wear any more, but can’t
bring yourself to do anything with them?

well this could be the solution you’ve been looking for!

on Sunday October the 7th we will be holding a charity Clothes Swap at the
Acta centre.
Bring along your unworn and unwanted clothes, clothes you no longer love
(and shoes and bags and hats!!) and swap away with everyone, to create a
whole new look!

At the end walk away with a whole new wardrobe! we ask that you make a
donation to our chosen charities on your departure – of what you feel you
can afford or what you would like to pay for the pile of new clothes you have!

any remaining clothes will be donated to local charity shops.

the time – 2pm-4pm
the place – the acta centre, Gladstone st, Bedminster, BS3 1EA
the date – Sunday the 7th of October

If you have a spare clothes rail and hangars we could borrow please could
you bring those too!

Most of us are concerned about the environment but sometimes it’s not easy to do the right thing. As the usable life of electronic equipment gets shorter it’s even more important that all of us contribute in our own small way to make a better tomorrow?

Next time you buy a new piece of electronic equipment and are wondering what to do with the old stuff – technically known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) – please think of giving it to Revamp who’ll put it to very good use. Continue reading
